Between 2011 and 2015, the North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources will be sponsoring more than 100 lectures, exhibitions, reenactments, and other events across the state that highlight the three themes of the Civil War Sesquicentennial--Freedom, Sacrifice, and Memory. This is the first of four posters commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Civil War in North Carolina. It measures 25 x 19 inches. Note that the red "North Carolina Department of Cultural Resources" security banner does not appear on the poster.
