Click here for driving directions. Many booksellers and gift shops at museums and historic sites sell selected titles from the Historical Publications Section of the N.C. Office of Archives and History. Booksellers/Retailers Most items offered for sale by Historical Publications Section of the North Carolina Office of Archives and History are available to booksellers and retailers at a resale discount. To establish a bookseller/retailer resale account, please call 919-733-7442, ext. 0. We regret that booksellers/retailers cannot receive their resale discount through online store purchases. Resale orders must be received by telephone, fax, or mail. Taxes Effective July 1, 2011, all orders by North Carolina residents are charged 6.75% sales tax. Note that in accordance with North Carolina law, shipping fees for orders placed by North Carolina residents (regardless of delivery destination) or for orders place by out-of-state residents for delivery to any North Carolina address are subject to 6.75% sales tax. Foreign Orders Due to prohibitive shipping costs, Historical Publications cannot accept orders for delivery to foreign countries, including Canada and the United Kingdom. Similarly orders for delivery to Alaska and Hawaii cannot be accepted.
Shipping Policy If you would like to pick up your order at our office (120 W. Lane Street in Downtown Raleigh) during regular business hours (9 AM - 5 PM, Monday - Friday) and save on shipping costs, select the "Office Pick-up" option when you checkout. You will be notified by email when your order is ready (usually within 24 hours of placing the order). Please examine our invoices and shipments carefully.
